AC Milan are preparing a big offer for Italian tactician Maurizio Sarri, according to the latest reports.
Despite a run of good results under Gennaro Gattuso, the Rossoneri seem to still be looking for another option for next season.
According to the latest reports from Campania-based newspaper Corriere del Mezzogiorno, the Italian giants would like to enroll Napoli’s coach Sarri at the end of the season. Reports also suggest Il diavolo would be willing to offer Sarri around €3.6million/yr.
It is also important to note that Milan has wanted the Italian coach for quite sometime, he was even supposed to replace Fillipo Inzaghi in 2015, but both parties failed to reach an agreement.
However, despite a 2-0 defeat at San Siro in the round of 16 of the Europa League against Arsenal, Gattuso’s team has shown great quality in the last two months and the way this season ends for them will probably determine the management’s decision on keeping the Milan legend or not.
