Report: Milan not giving up on €60m-rated teenager; PSG and Man Utd in the race

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are not giving up on the idea of signing Eduardo Camavinga from Stade Rennais but face fierce competition, according to a report.

Elliott Management have so far preferred to implement a youth project focused on signing young players with high potential to improve the club’s balance sheets.

Camavinga fits the bill perfectly, and two months ago il Corriere dello Sport reported that Milan had sent a scout to watch the 17-year-old in a game between Brest and Rennes.

Meanwhile, Calciomercato.com then added last month that Milan are ‘always getting excellent reports’ on the teenager.

However, according to a report on Calciomercato.com – who cite France Football – Milan face strong competition if they are to sign the France U21 international as Paris Saint-Germain have now also joined the race.

L’Equipe previously reported that Manchester United and Barcelona are among the other sides chasing the Angola-born teenager, and that interested clubs had been told it will take a €60m bid to convince the Ligue 1 side to part with their prized young asset.
