According to Calciomercato.com, AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini will reject the role that has been offered to him in the club.

Maldini wants to have a decision-making role, but Elliott don’t seem willing to offer the former defender such a role, as they are looking for more experienced directors.

Furthermore, MilanNews.it add that although talks have continued, they are complicated. There are obvious disagreements on which role the 50-year-old will take on, making any negotiations tough.

On the other hand, SKy Italia have previously reported that there haven’t been any contacts between AC Milan’s new owners, Elliott, and Paolo Maldini.
