Romagnoli to renew AC Milan contract after club sale is completed

By Nikita Fesyukov -

Alessio Romagnoli looks set to join Gianluigi Donnarumma and Suso on the list of players to be renewed after the closing of the club sale on March 3.

The 22-year-old Italy international has collected 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season, but is currently sidelined due to a muscle injury.

Despite the injury, Romagnoli has shown significant progress alongside Gabriel Paletta throughout the season, which has also earned him his first senior call-up for the national team as well as his debut.

According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the new ownership is ready to reward the Roma youth product for his performances and are going to offer him a new contract, tying him to the club until 2022 with a corresponding salary increase.
