AC Milan and Inter continue to work on the new stadium project. This afternoon, there was a meeting between the two clubs and the city council, in which they outlined the details of the project once again.

The Rossoneri president, Paolo Scaroni, spoke to ANSA afterwards and gave his thoughts on the meeting, convinced that the project presented is good not just for the club but also for Milan as a city.

“We are absolutely convinced of the value that our project obviously has not only for the clubs, but for the whole city of Milan. We are ready to present the projects during an event next week and the official date will be announced soon,” he added.

As revealed by the official press release of Milan, the plan is to build a modern stadium with a capacity of 60K. Furthermore, the stadium will be adjustable in order to switch between the two clubs (colours, advertising boards and so on).

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), US giant Populous and the Italian company Progetto CMR will present their respective project next Tuesday, and from there the two clubs will decide which design to go for.
