Sky: AC Milan ponder move for Rodolfo Pizarro

By Anthony Torgrude -

AC Milan are still hunting for their new midfield and now a new name has entered the fray.

Currently Milan are heavily linked to Jordan Veretout but things may not go according to plan. In the event that Milan miss out on the Fiorentina man, according to Sky, their attention could turn to Monterrey’s 25 year old attacking midfielder, Rodolfo Pizarro.

Pizarro currently has an €8 million Euro release clause, which is much easier to trigger than the wanted price for Veretout.

The player has been at his current club since 2018, making thirty league appearances and scoring six times. He is coming off a successful Gold Cup campaign which saw his nation, Mexico, win the tournament.

Long time links to Veretout without a deal is making Milan anxious and Fiorentina risk missing out on the sale if they do not accept Milan’s offer.
