AC Milan have reportedly ruled themselves out of the race to sign Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata this summer.

According to the latest Sky Italia report, the Rossoneri have accepted that their Financial Fair Play uncertainty, coupled with a lack of Champions League football, has shut the door on any chance of landing Morata.

Milan have been repeatedly linked to Morata with speculation stretching back to last summer that the new ownership are keen on landing the Spaniard.

Morata joined Chelsea from Real Madrid for €75m last year, but has found playing time very hard to come by in 2018 since the arrival of Olivier Giroud.
