AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt have a verbal agreement over a transfer fee for Ante Rebic already, according to a report.
The Croatia international joined last summer on a two-year loan from Eintracht Frankfurt with Milan striker Andre Silva going the other way on the same terms.
Rebic meanwhile is flying after a difficult start to life as a Rossoneri player, as he has scored 10 league goals since the beginning of the calendar year.
According to the latest from Sky Italia (via MilanLive), any permanent move for Rebic will only take place at the end of the next season as the agreement entered regarding the loan should not be changed.
There is already a verbal agreement between the two clubs on a €25million transfer fee, but those talks were conducted by the current Milan management and in a month it is likely to change.
Therefore, it will be necessary to see what evaluations will be made by Ralf Rangnick, but it is believed that the German manager appreciates Rebic and wants him in his project.
