AC Milan are keeping tabs on Atalanta winger Alejandro Gomez as a possible alternative to Everton’s Gerard Deulofeu.
The Rossoneri continue to wait for a decision from the Merseyside club on the offer of a dry loan.
Milan CEO Adriano Galliani confirmed on Tuesday that the clubs were still negotiating a deal, however,
“No, we’re still talking,” Galliani said. “It’ll take time, we chat, we discuss things, it’s typical negotiating.”
Sky claim that Milan are considering a move for ‘Papu’ Gomez in the eventuality that a move for Deulofeu breaks down.
However, they state that a move would be likely made in the summer rather than in January, as Atalanta would refuse to sell now.
