According to the latest reports out of Italy, American billionaire Commisso has offered a big amount to take over AC Milan from Yonghong Li.
In fact, as reported by Sky Italia, Commisso has offered Yonghong Li €500m for 100% of the club, while he would also cover the Elliott debt.
The loan taken by Yonghong Li in order to finance the purchase of Milan, valued at €180m plus interest, will be covered by Commisso upon taking over the San Siro side. Commisso is also expected to pay the €32m tranche of the capital increase requested from Yonghong Li.
The Chinese owner, however, is not fully convinced yet, as he doesn’t want to sell all of the shares. Therefore, according to Il Sole 24 Ore, he is also waiting for the Ricketts family’s offer.
Commisso, on the other hand, intends to close the deal before the weekend and doesn’t want to get into a bidding war.
