Marco Storari spoke to MilanTV on Tuesday evening after the club announced he would be re-joining on a short term deal.
The 40-year-old goalkeeper arrives from Cagliari on a contract until the summer, with Gabriel going the other way on a six-month loan.
Storari told Milan TV: “Montella is a young manager, I cannot wait to start.”
“Milan is a young team with great players and this is definitely a starting point to build something big.
“At Milanello I left many friends, I think it was a thunder in a family and I’m happy [to be back].”
What shirt number will Storari be wearing? Well, there is element of nostalgia.
Storari: “I chose the shirt number 30 because I used to wear it for many years, fortunately it was available and I took it.”
