AC Milan are set to battle Inter for the signing of one Bayern Munich star this summer, a report claims.
According to Tuttosport, both Milanese clubs have already made contact to sign Arturo Vidal at the end of the season.
The former Juventus midfielder has a contract expiring in June 2019, and it is reported that Vidal could return to Serie A should Bayern not move to extend it.
Vidal could struggle for game time next season as the Bundesliga champions recently announced the arrival of Leon Goretzka in the summer.
Tuttosport believes that Vidal wants to play the Champions League, and is likely to join whichever Milanese side that qualifies.
