Tuttosport: Everton, Watford and Lazio join race for Niang

By Grégory Leclercq -

M’baye Niang is one of the remaining talking points of this late august at Milanello.

The winger, who can also play as a striker, hasn’t been short of offers to leave AC Milan since the start of the summer transfer window.

While the player has never really officially been on the transfer list, it is acknowledged that the Milan board is looking for other solutions, perhaps looking for more consistency for the upcoming season.

Tuttosport, the Italian newspaper, provides new information on his possible next destination. It appears that Lazio, Everton and Watford are amongst the new teams showing strong interest.

Lazio, who just let Keita Baldé join AS Monaco, is looking to replace him, and Niang might just fit the same profile the club is looking at.

Tuttosport also acknowledges that Spartak Moscow have resumed efforts in signing the french man and that they are likely to offer €22.5m to the Rossoneri, as well as a solid €12m salary over 4 years hoping to change his mind about a move he has reportedly already rejected.

Along with Torino who has already seen offers rejected by the Rossoneri board, who were asking for a higher price, it is reported that Everton and Watford, where he spent half of last season on loan at, are strongly considering making a move for him.

With a bit more than a day to the end of the Mercato will we see the player, who has always been in good terms with Montella leave the San Siro?
