Tuttosport: Milan told to pay €35m for RB Leipzig star amid interest from Spurs and Arsenal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in the idea of trying to sign RB Leipzig star Marcel Sabitzer during the upcoming window, a report claims.

The Rossoneri’s midfield department is a fascinating situation to assess for the upcoming window, with question marks over the futures of all but a couple of players in that area as things stand, meaning reinforcements will be needed.

It was reported earlier on Sunday by Tuttosport that Milan have drawn up a six-man list of potential targets to reinforce the middle of the mark, including the likes of Tiemoue Bakayoko and Teun Koopmeiners.

According to a report from the same outlet (via MilanNews), Milan are also keen on Leipzig’s 26-year-old star Marcel Sabitzer, a player who will be one of the prized pieces of the next market amid interest from Spurs and Arsenal.

A symbol of Rangnick’s style of football, the Austria international is very attached to his former manager in Ralf Rangnick. However, as reported by the newspaper, it will be difficult to lower his asking price of €35million and there will be a lot of competition.
