Tuttosport: Suso wants €6m per year in new AC Milan deal

By Isak Möller -

After being one of the best players for AC Milan last season, Suso has failed to reach the same heights at the start of this campaign. However, he remains an important figure of the team, and thus talks are underway for a contract renewal.

The Spaniard, whose current contract expires in 2022, has been a key player for the Rossoneri in recent years. However, unlike previous campaigns, he has started this one awfully quite, though this most likely is due to the entire team’s performance.

As Tuttosport reports (via Calciomercato.com), despite the current situation, Suso wants to renew his contract with the San Siro side. However, he has reportedly asked the leadership for a salary of €6m per year, which is the same amount the Donnarumma earns.

Currently, the former Liverpool earns €3m per year, meaning he wants to double his earnings. Most likely, this won’t be accepted by the leadership, who are working to decrease the salary expenses rather than increase them.
