As the year draws to a close, 2019 was another vital step in the development of AC Milan’s star young goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Having left his teenage years behind him, the 20-year-old has asserted himself as one of the best keepers in Serie A and one of the best young players in world football. He was even referred to as the true leader of the squad by Zvonomir Boban.
