After landing in Milan at 13:00, Ismael Bennacer headed straight to La Madonnina clinic, where he will undergo the first part of his medical ahead of the transfer to AC Milan.
The midfielder started in the AFCON final on Friday evening, playing an important role in Algeria’s 1-0 win over Senegal. Now, however, he’s preparing for a new adventure in his career, set to sign a five-year deal with the Rossoneri.
After the medical is completed, he’s expected at Casa Milan to sign his contract with the club. Milan will reportedly pay €16m plus €2m in bonuses to Empoli, which is a bargain considering his performances during the AFCON.
