AC Milan 125th Anniversary Exhibition

‘125 Years of Milan’ – Limited-edition photobook launched to celebrate club’s history

AC Milan have announced the launch of a limited-edition photobook in collaboration with the publisher Assouline to celebrate the 125th Anniversary.

The book was officially unveiled at an event at the Via Dante club shop in the city centre last night, and Gerry Cardinale has written the foreword in it as the owner.

The book is available in two elegant premium versions (Assouline’s Classics and Ultimate collections). The ‘Classics’ edition, presented in a luxury slipcase, offers a profound journey into AC Milan’s past, present, and future.

The ‘Ultimate’ edition is a collector’s piece, hand-bound using traditional techniques, with colour plates hand-tipped on art-quality paper, nestled in a luxury rubber clamshell.

It features photographs from Getty Images and Studio Buzzi, along with original photos by Ethan White – a former professional footballer turned renowned sports and fashion photographer.

The book provides a visual narrative of Milan’s history, capturing the passion, triumphs, and defining moments that have shaped the club over the past 125 years.

During the launch event at the store a special photographic exhibition was also inaugurated, featuring images from the book and celebrating the deep connection between Milan and the city of Milan.

The exhibition will be open for visitors until 2 December, with Paulo Fonseca and Matteo Gabbia both providing some comments last night, plus Paolo Scaroni.

    1. I checked earlier and they are available for sale on the club webstore and I think the standard version was 160 euros and the limited edition around a wopping 1200 bucks.
For those with no financial limitations the ugliest jacket around can also be acquired for roughly 3000 euros 😀

    2. There was a 120 year one that I got as a gift for my bday. They probably updated the 125 year one with the most recent Scudetto or maybe they redid the entire thing, I’m not sure. But the one I have to be quite honest is fantastic not gonna lie. It’s quite the book, shows all the history and just makes you understand how big a club we are (and no I’m not being paid to say this lol 😂). If it’s anything like the one I have you’d be very happy with it as a fan (again, Gerry should really pay me for saying this lol 😂).

      1. 😀 Well to be fair I know you and your writings well enough to say that you ain’t a hired stooge of Cardinale 😛 I would like to have the books though and could buy the cheaper version but certainly wouldn’t buy the more expensive one even if I had an excessive amount of cash to spend.

  1. History is what happened this past weekend.
Milan has lost 2 generations of fans due to mediocrity and obscurity. Fans now currently are 25 and older.
