AC Milan and Real Madrid dominate FourFourTwo’s list of top 25 players from last 25 years

Six former AC Milan players dominate FourFourTwo’s list of the 25 best players of the past 25 years.

Four Italian players make the rankings with Gigi Buffon in 25th, Fabio Cannnavaro in 12th spot, former Rossoneri playmaker Roberto Baggio in 10th and ex-Milan captain Paolo Maldini one place above.

Messi beats Ronaldo to top spot with Zinedine Zidane in third. Another two former Milan players come after the top three in Ronaldo Nazario and Ronaldinho fifth, with Thierry Henry, Xavi and Iniesta making up the rest of the top 10.

Kakà comes in 14th place, just ahead of Serie A icons Luis Figo and Batistuta who are in 16th and 17th respectively.
