AC Milan 3-1 Bologna: Follow the action with our live commentary

AC Milan are up against Bologna in Serie A this evening, not the Coppa Italia final, and it will indeed be a game to prepare for Wednesday’s action. Join us for the live commentary from San Siro.

As discussed in our latest newsletter, the fact that Milan and Bologna are facing each other in back-to-back games is indeed a bit special. Having said that, while tonight’s clash doesn’t matter too much for the Rossoneri in terms of the league standings, it certainly does for the Rossoblu.

Compared to the comeback win against Genoa, Sergio Conceicao has made one change to the starting XI, replacing Youssouf Fofana with Joao Felix. This means that Ruben Loftus-Cheek is starting in midfield tonight, rather than in a more advanced position.

There is no watchalong for the game, sadly, but Lorenzo and Stefano will be back in action for the Coppa Italia final next week. In the meantime, you can follow the action from Milan-Bologna round 1 with our live commentary, as published on our X account.

  1. Why are they all selfish? Everyone trying to score instead of passing to a teammate in a better position to shoot. Unbelievable!

      1. It still has time to age haha 😆….Copa is on Wednesday. Let’s see how fresh he is then. Why is he playing a full 90 now? All our league games now til the end are virtually de.ad rubber games. What does this win do for us? No need to play or risk him for this one.

    1. I agree.

Chuk was instrumental for the win today.

Made the key moves for all the 3 goals.

      Welldone

      More expected from him

  2. Chucky involved in all three goals. That was crazy. Bologna totally collapsed after our first goal. Such big holes in their defence. I feel we have a good chance on wednesday. The team has improved by miles since we lost against them in the league a couple of months ago. And we play on neutral grounds. Which mainly means not on their ground where they are incredibly hard to beat.
