This morning, AC Milan have announced the extension of Francesco Camarda’s contract until 2031 with the option of an extra year.
It was common knowledge that Milan were planning to extend Camarda’s deal. So, when he entered Casa Milan in a suit last night, everyone knew the reasoning. Indeed, he was there to sign his new deal at the club.

Of course, it is already known. However, the renewal is another statement of the club’s belief in the striker, even after a tough season. Everyone knows that the future is his to take; he just needs to make the progress.
Eventually he will get there, though, and the number nine shirt could eventually be his.
Camarda renews until 2031 (with option)
Now that renewal has been announced by the club on their official channels, as can be seen below.
“AC Milan is delighted to announce the renewal of Francesco Camarda’s contract until 30 June 2031, plus a one-year club option.
“A product of the Rossoneri youth academy, which he joined at the age of 7, Francesco completed his development with the Primavera and Milan Futuro sides, before making his First Team debut. Last season, on loan at Lecce, he played in Serie A, making 23 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist, before returning to AC Milan.”
Interestingly, there is no mention of the Futuro, nor is he in front of the Futuro logo. It seems the decision on his future may have been made.
