There have been multiple reports all claiming that Lapadula’s future at Milan is uncertain, as the Rossoneri looks set to land a big name striker this summer. Today, Sky Italia fueled those rumours.

Sky claims that Milan have made serious attempts to sign Torino striker Andrea Belotti, although their first offer was rejected. Moreover, Milan are expected to present a new offer to Torino for Belotti very soon, meaning Lapadula most likely won’t be the Rossoneri’s starter next season.

With that said, it will be interesting to see if Lapadula can accept a role as a backup. If not, then Milan are considering to send him to Genoa, with Simeone moving to San Siro as a part of the deal.

However, Sky also mention that Fiorentina are ready to join the race for Simeone, should Kalinic leave the club this summer. Only time will tell where Lapadula and Simeone will end up after this summer’s transfer market.
