By Oliver Fisher -

The day is finally upon us. After weeks of speculation and seemingly hundreds of targets linked, at the end of today AC Milan’s squad will be locked in.

With the window all set to shut this evening at 20:00 CEST, we at SempreMilan will guide you through the final few hours of the summer mercato, with a couple of deals expected to be completed at least. Sit back, relax, and take it all in.

12:33 – Have Yacine this?!

Yacine Adli’s contract has been officially deposited by Milan, and we can expect the official announcement to be made in the coming hours.

12:12pm – Denis the Menace

AC Milan came forward and expressed an interest in signing attacking midfielder Denis Suarez from Celta Vigo, according to a report. Read more about it here.

11:40am – Conti could leave

The chances of Andrea Conti leaving AC Milan appear to have risen as two clubs have come forward and shown interest. Read more here.

11:15am – Do me a Faivre

It cannot be ruled out that AC Milan try to resume negotiations with Brest over Romain Faivre on deadline day according to Tuttosport, which you can read about here. We want today to be fun, surprising and exciting, but even we can’t get optimistic about this one. Stranger things have happened though…

10:53am – Market closed?

This always seems to happen every deadline day, but Anto Vitiello of MilanNews has gone early with his tweet suggesting Milan’s incoming market is closed after Messias signs.

10:39am – Another imminent deal

Of course, we must remind you at this point that Yacine Adli arrived at AC Milan’s headquarters last night to sign his contract and formally complete a move to the Rossoneri, with an announcement expected today.

10:33am – Castillejo chaos and confusion

An agent and an agency are battling over Castillejo’s future with as many as three clubs interested in the winger. Read the latest on his future here.

10:24am – Miranchuk approach made

Milan have made an attempt to sign attacking midfielder Aleksei Miranchuk from Atalanta but a deal seems difficult. Read more here.

10:07am – Messias medical underway

Junior Messias has reported this morning to begin his medical examinations ahead of a deadline day move to Milan.

Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews) reports that the figures of the deal are as follows: €2.6m for the loan, an option to buy at €5.4m and an additional €1m in bonuses.

9:25am – Messias deal confirmed

Late last night, AC Milan reached an agreement with Crotone over the services of Junior Messias, who emerged as a target a few weeks ago. This has now been confirmed by their president, and you can read his quotes here.

Let’s just give Messias time ffs. Stop hating on him man. He had as many goals as De Paul. Better stats than Merdanoghlu despite playing for a way worse team. The dude is a fighter.
Let’s see what he can do.

on the bright side he is an upgrade to Casti and Saalemekers.

Messias can give us a decent 2 yrs..not world class or anything but without Berardi..he will do I think,,I won’t judge him b4 he plays at least 5-10 games.

Maldini brought a miss again, Messias can not help anything in the game of Milan, again a bad choice and cheap.
