The game finishes 1-1 after a super dramatic ending. Having said that, Milan didn’t do enough tonight and got punished for some poor defending, as well as the missed chances. It’s one of those games the Rossoneri would have needed to win to fight for the Scudetto.
Maignan didn’t even need to save that one! Way above the bar.

Genoa are basically sitting back with everything they have, Milan doing their best to find a way through with crosses, but it’s difficult.

Bartesaghi fires just wide! Nicely done by Milan and Loftus-Cheek there.
Pulisic finds the back of the net, but VAR rules it out for handball. Gabbia headed it towards goal, hit the post, and the American arrived at just the right time to tap it in. However, he did so with his arm.
It’s not exactly been the strong start that Milan had been hoping for, Genoa have actually seen most of the ball so far in the second half.
Milan will have to convert their chances in the second half, otherwise we could be looking at huge points dropped. Hopefully, the half-time break has done the trick again.

Another first half ends in disappointment. The Rossoneri at least had chances to score, in fact they should have scored through Fofana, but Genoa made the most of their one big chance and now have the lead. It had to be Colombo as well…

Its not really that difficult type of header in my view if you know what to do and are a bit reckless. When I played I’ve scored on diving headers with the risk of getting kicked in the head and that was a teenager, a pro player who assumingly can head to a ball should be able to do the same. Otherwise he should at least be able to burry it with his feet.

What did I say in the first half ? We will run desperately like headless chickens in the last 10 minutes because in the first half we played relaxed just like we lead from the start with 3-0 . Looked like a penalty kick for us as it seems like Fullkrug was stepped on his foot but I might obviously be wrong but certainly looked like one to me.

Big difference . When Inter is lead by other team and Lautaro equalized , instantly take the ball from the net and run with the ball in the hands to the started point to win precious seconds , restart the game as early possible and force the second goal and victory.
What Leao did after score an equalizer goal with few minutes left to play ? He run like a child to the corner field to celebrate with supporters and posing to cameras…
