AC Milan’s mission to secure more global connections and subsequently appeal continues, as they have announced a new partnership with Sekabet.

The deal sees sees the online platform become the Official Regional Betting Partner of the Rossoneri in Turkey, which makes them the latest in the network of brands that the club are collaborating with around the world.

Online source OnlineCasinos365 provided information that Italian football club Milan has signed a new sponsorship deal with Turkish betting company Sekabet.

The deal offers the Rossoneri an opportunity to grow its fanbase in Turkey, where the Rossoneri have many passionate supporters, while also giving Sekabet a chance to further expand in the Turkish market after making big strides since its 2015 launch.

As OnlineCasinos365 shared, this deal highlights AC Milan’s continued efforts to extend its global presence through strategic sponsorships.

The new partnership is set to launch with a dynamic multi-platform promotional campaign, which coincides with the beginning of the 2023-24 season.

Sekabet users in Turkey will now be able to engage more personally with the Club, with the opportunity to win exclusive prizes, enjoy exclusive content, and take part in money-can’t-buy experiences.

Maikel Oettle, Commercial Director of AC Milan: “We are delighted to kick off this collaboration in Turkey and welcome Sekabet into our family of regional partners.

“This new partnership gives us a fantastic opportunity to create new ways to engage our fans in a country with a passionate Rossoneri fanbase of over 15 million people through exclusive content and experiences.”

If you needed any further proof of the global route that Milan are going down, the club announced the launch of a new official store on Jingdong (known as JD.com), one of the most influential and popular platforms for online retail in the Chinese market.

Through JD, Rossoneri fans in China will be able to purchase official Club products quickly and easily. The new official store will also give fans exclusive access to articles designed for the Chinese market, making the purchasing experience even more diversified and unique.

JD thus joins the list of Milan’s official online stores in China, which also includes Tmall, confirming the ever-increasing attention paid to a market in which the Rossoneri club can boast over 146 million fans – according to a study by the market research and analysis company YouGov, AC Milan is the best-regarded Italian football brand in China.

The opening of an official store on JD marks a further step for the Milan brand’s presence in the Asian market, and it aims to improve the fan experience and strengthen the bond with the Rossoneri fanbase in the region.

A testament to this commitment, last season Milan registered the highest number of interactions with its fans amongst all Serie A clubs, thanks to the significant growth of its presence on Chinese platforms, on which more than 5 million followers were reached.

In addition to various local fan clubs around the country, the Club is also active on nine different official social media platforms dedicated to the Chinese public and has an international office in Shanghai.
