CM: Milan leading Juventus and Sevilla in race for teenage Vicenza striker

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are the team who are currently leading the race to sign Tommaso Mancini from Vicenza, according to a report.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, the 18-year-old is attracting the interest of Milan, Empoli and Juventus in Italy as well as Benfica and Sevilla abroad. Having turned 18 yesterday, the striker feels that he is now ready to choose his next club so he is carefully evaluating every hypothesis.

As soon as next week there could be some news on the possible destination. At the moment Milan are ahead, having already met the player’s father and the intermediaries of the operation to lay the foundations.

The deal can be closed at around €2.5m and while the Rossoneri have moved almost a month ago to try and win the race, Mancini wanted to wait until he turned 18 before making a choice, so now he will carefully evaluate the possible destinations before making a choice.

  1. big difference on whether we get him this year when he’s 18 or later at 19… at 18, we can call him Milan-grown. If Lazovic or Colombo don’t cut it, hopefully this guys does. We’re a bit desperate for more players that we grew within since we have empty slots there, especially since Pellegri didn’t pan out.

  2. To Sign Tomasso Mancini is just like Signing Sheva and V Basten Being Young.
It is very Hard to get such talented and Skillfull Player.
Sign Him at any cost Immidiately.

  3. Even if he came, he might play a couple of training matches and then be loaned out until sold permantently. There is no future in Milan for Italian young strikers. History has proven that many times.
