Big win for Milan and Ruben Amorim to silence the critics ahead of the long international break. Really nice to see Christian Pulisic getting his first goal of the season, and Goncalo Ramos getting two assists.
The Rossoneri are now just two points behind top three, so it was definitely an important win.

On: Bartesaghi, Musah.
Off: Estupinan, Modric.
Maignan finds Ramos, who wrestles enough to get the ball loose for Moreira, and the new signing then does it all by himself to slot home the third goal!

Another good chance for Estupinan to get on the scoresheet, but a very weak effort from him. He has made the right runs tonight but the end product has been questionable.
On: Loftus-Cheek, Moreira.
Off: Pulisic, Saelemaekers.
Estupinan with a crucial clearance there, would have been an open net if not.
Lovely, lovely move by Milan there! Gila passes it to Pulisic, who flicks it to Rabiot, and a one-two with Ramos then puts the Frenchman through on goal. Calm finish and 2-0!

Rabiot finds Pavlovic in the box and the header beats Falcone, but the flag is up for offside.
Estupinan got the ball from Rabiot and for a second it looked like a 1v1, but the first touch let him down a bit. Then a blocked shot after that.
Ramos attempts an overhead kick but fails to connect with the ball. Pretty good leap and technique you have to say there.
No changes by Amorim for the second half, which makes sense when you consider that Milan did well in the first 45. That said, it would be nice to make this a comfortable evening with another goal.

Pulisic’s early goal has Milan in the lead after the first 45 minutes. The Rossoneri have dominated so far, it has to be said, and they could have done more with a few counter-attacks to perhaps double the lead.
Nice to see that Amorim, as well as the fans, got the reaction they wanted in this first half.
Pavlovic attempts a shot after a nice run, but it’s not a great one. Far from it. He should have done better there even though it was his weaker foot.
Really well done by Gila there to take Modric’s pass in his stride, overlapping on the right. No one on the end of the cross, but still nice and a corner for Milan.
Chukwueze nearly gets on the end of Saelemaekers’ pass. Nice move by Milan there.
Milan haven’t created loads since the goal, but they certainly haven’t switched off the desire to attack, which has been nice to say.
Easy save for Maignan, but at least Lecce have got their first shot on target.
Pavlovic finds Pulisic over the top with a fantastic pass, and the first touch is even better from the American! Nice finish after that to find the back of the net.

First sense of danger from Milan there. Ramos led the counter-attack and nearly found Pulisic in behind. Possibly offside though.
Decent so far from Milan, with a higher passing tempo than we have seen in some of the previous games, even if they haven’t created a chance yet.
The game is underway at San Siro. Now let’s see if Milan are serious about fixing their first-half issues or not.

Milan: pulisic was the biggest leader on the team, when Theo and Leao were nowehere to be found, and actingnlike children, And They were gonna give the armbnd to CP, But the Whole team Revolted, fought CP for Penalties, trashed him In Post match interviews.
If Estu can’t even perform well against Lecce, I don’t know what to say. No other player ever got this many chances with bad performance after bad performance. He is lucky Amorim rates him
Barthesaghi lost his place by letting Benfica score that 1-0 goal. Estupinan is a defender. No more no less. That’s why he plays. But playing with him is like having -2 players in attack. Somtimes it’s like having -1 player in defence also. He’s horrible. I wonder why Moreira doesn’t get any starts. Probably because of lack of fitness. But I’d rather let him try and play 60 min instead of 30. Let Barthesaghi com in last 30 instad and leave Estupinan at home forever.

lol, who are we lying to? his too rash, his awareness is next to none and he is baisically an upgraded estupinian on the ball. he is good physically and can drag the ball. that was the only good pass in his milan playing career. lets not get it twisted

Hes terrible, he is making the wrong passes every single time, he seems to wait a second and think, and then make a wrong pass, hes not instinctual. he rly should never be allowed past the Half way line.

He need help from his teammates. They need to create chances for him.
He should be upfront to take those chances and not run around everywhere on the pitch. But I guess that’s the order from the coach….
Salae and estupinan are the liabilities in this game. Salae occassionally with great crosses like with Chuck but has been keeping and losing the ball a lot.

They are not creating so much even when they got the ball all the time. They play the ball back all the time. Boring to watch.
