Jacobone: AC Milan offered Porto winger as Juventus pass on €30m option

AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Francisco Conceicao from Porto, according to one journalist.

There could be the need to sign a new winger soon given Sky recently reported that Samuel Chukwueze has ended up in the sights of Real Betis. The LaLiga side apparently made an enquiry over the Nigerian, who had 26 appearances in Serie A last season with three goals and two assists.

Chukwueze recently spoke about the season that he had at Milan and strongly hinted at frustration over a lack of playing time, mostly due to the fact that Christian Pulisic had another stellar campaign, but there could be a change on the flanks.

Another Conceicao at Milan?

According to Alessandro Jacobone, one of the players that has been offered to Milan in recent days is Francisco Conceiçao, son of the former Milan coach Sergio who was recently dismissed.

He will return to his parent club Porto after his loan spell with Juventus expired. Juve had an option to make the deal permanent, but in the end they decided not to spend the money required, which was believed to be €30m.

The Portuguese played 37 games across all competitions last season for the Bianconeri, registering five goals and six assists. At 22 years of age there are certainly further margins for growth.
