The sporting world was rocked on Sunday by the news that legendary basketball player Kobe Bryant was killed in a helicopter crash.
The 41-year-old and his daughter Gianna, 13, were among the nine killed when the aircraft came down in Calabasas.
Bryant was a five-time NBA champions with the Los Angeles Lakers and a keen Milan fan from his time growing up in Italy, something which he has never hidden.
He was quoted as saying upon a visit to Milanello during the 2013-14 season: “I’ve always said if you cut off my left arm it’ll bleed black and red and if you cut off my right arm it’ll bleed yellow and purple.”
