With the club sale set to be completed on April 14, the new AC Milan ownership are already planning how to reinforce Vincenzo Montella’s team to fight for top spots next season.
According to Sky Italia, Balde Keita from Lazio remains one of the priorities of Marco Fassone and Massimiliano Mirabelli. The club wants to sign the player for a right price this summer or when his contract with the Biancocelesti expires in 2018. Biglia and De Vrij are other Lazio players of interest.
But the real bombshell of the summer transfer market could be Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal. The Chilean midfielder has been observed by Fassone and Mirabelli on numerous occasions. The player loves Italian football, but there are still no negotiations, even though it is a name that is tempting the new ownership a lot.
In terms of renewals, Gianlugi Donnarumma is a top priority. Milan will do everything possible to keep the 18-year-old goalkeeper at the club. Meanwhile Mattia De Sciglio, another club youth product, could leave this summer. The fullback expressed his desire of an exit already last summer and could be on his way out.
The contract extension of Suso is a simpler task. The Spaniard already has an agreement with both the old and the new ownership. What remains is to polish some details and ratify the new agreement that will tie Suso to the Rossoneri until 2021 with an improved salary.
