  1. Is this team finally clicking? It looks so, but this just has to be the beginning. I knew with a few new players it wasn’t going to be simple.

    1. Well with all due respect we are against one of the worst team in the league…

But hopefully this is the start we need. The team play looking good.

But I still can’t see anything positive from Emerson Royal… His dribble isn’t convincing, and he is not attacking enough even against far worse team.

      1. As I Said, sometimes you need to take a boost where needed and even the “worst” teams in the league tend to park the bus, especially when playing against us. I see plenty of positive so far, but there is some to build on.

  2. So, Rafa is LAAAAAZYYYY!!! He doesn’t do anything!!! If by a miracle, he does, he’s just lucky!!!

Rafa in 4 games has 1 goal, 2 assists, and one earned PK. That is, 4 goal participations in 4 games.

    What a lucky fellow!

    1. If you need to go out of your way to point out after a good game that Leao isn’t lazy then it means that he is mostly lazy.
Pulisic has 2 goals and 2 assists so far this season, same goal contributions as Leao and no one is questioning his effort. Do you know why? Because besides your little stats he actually works hard for the team throughout the game, tracking back and produces goals as well.

      1. You don’t seem to understand sarcasm. I am a big fan of Rafael Leao’s. I don’t think he is lazy at all. I’m not the one who keeps saying it.

      2. Oh and by the way, I’m a huge Pulisic fan. My Milan jersey has his name and number. I love Puli.

But the thing is, they produce the same number of goal interventions. Since Puli was hired, he produced 31 goal interventions. Rafa produced 32 over the same period.

However only Rafa is heavily criticized. And no, it’s not because Rafa rarely tracks back (that’s just his characteristic as a player).

For me, it probably has to do with Rafa’s skin color. What other reason? How is someone who in the last season and the beginning of this one has produced 32 goal interventions so crucified by a segment of the fan base???

There are plenty of forwards in world football who don’t track back well and don’t defend well. People however don’t spend 75% of their online time bashing them, when they CONSISTENTLY rank as the team’s #1 or #2 goal contributors (which Rafa did in all 3 of the last 3 seasons).

        1. Nah it isn’t skin colour. It’s because he is lazy..
If people are racist, as you imply, why isn’t Mike getting any special treatment when he has an off game?

          1. Oh, I’ve heard Mike being criticized too, for being off-form, getting beat at the near post, being injury-prone and finished, needing to be sold. And Chuk. And Musah. And people said that Abraham should not have been signed because he is washed up.

Similar issues with the white players don’t seem to be as harshly criticized.

And no, Rafa is not lazy. He is just the kind of player whose best characteristics are to beat his man with a burst of speed and to produce interesting assists and scores, but he is not good at tracking back or defending. No player does everything right, except for very rare ones (I’d say that Puli does most things right, but not everybody can be like that). Even when Rafa works very hard, he is still called lazy.

It’s a stereotypical word. Think about it.

          2. You are saying white players like Calabria and Tata got criticized so it proves that the criticism of Rafa is not racism. Who says that it’s the same people criticizing these players? Maybe there are people who criticize Rafa, Mike, Tomori, Chuk etc because they are racists. Maybe there are DIFFERENT people who criticize Calabria, Tata and Pobega because they are Italians. Different people can have different prejudices and two wrongs don’t make a right. The fact that SOME people criticize white players doesn’t mean that OTHER people who criticize black players are not racist.

Look, obviously not ALL people who criticize Rafa are racists. But some probably are.

Do you think there are no racist fans? Think again. One of these days, someone was saying that black players are not Italians regardless of their citizenship status and place of birth.

  3. UK TV is ridiculous, either have to pay a gambling site or a one off payment to a new One football app….. Serie A what are you doing? Not even a way to subscribe.

    1. It’s a joke paid 5€ and I’m paying £30 a month for discovery specifically for Milan. I don’t even think Milan have been featured on there yet.
I had 4-0 in my head. We need a moral boost. I just hope our foundations go deeper than a confidence boost considering the week ahead we have.

  4. RLC was solid in the midfield, I tnink he has rediscovered his physical abilities and making good use of It now.

The overall team have really step up except Emerson.R he hasn’t convinced me…

I hope this win can boost the moral and give confidence ahead of the UEFA champions league matche against Liverpool. Milan all time rival in uefa matches
