FT: Milan 1-0 Bologna

HUGE win for the Rossoneri! A poor first half turned into a much better second half, and truth be told, they could have scored more with the chances they had.

90'

Seven minutes added on.

90'
Allegri sent off!

The jacket is off and Allegri is FURIOUS! Rightfully so, the refereeing has been shocking.

88'
VAR check...

Might not be a penalty after all…

As suspected, the referee goes back on his decision…

86'
Penalty to Milan!

Nkunku immediately wins a penalty for Milan! Great pass by Pulisic to creat the chance.

85'
Final sub for Milan...

On: Nkunku.

Off: Gimenez.

83'
Gimenez what are you doing?!

Unreal from the striker, who was through on goal but tried to do too much before pulling the trigger. In the end, he hit the post.

77'

Pulisic does so well to dribble past the Bologna defenders but slips in the final moment! Would’ve been a stunner.

69'
Ricci hits the post!

Great strike on the edge of the box, but his shot hits the outside of the post.

64'
Two more subs for Milan...

On: Ricci, Pulisic.

Off: Fofana, Loftus-Cheek.

61'
GOAL! LUKA MODRIC YOU BEAUTY! 1-0!

What a strike by the Croatian, set up by Loftus-Cheek and Saelemaekers. It should be noted that the veteran started the move as well, so fantastic work from him.

Milan 1-0 Bologna

59'

Gimenez fires wide from a decent position. A gifted chance for Milan, but no goal yet.

56'
Second sub for Milan...

On: Terracciano.

Off: Maignan.

We’ll see in the coming days if it’s a serious injury or not, but either way, it’s not what Milan needed.

53'

Maignan is sitting down and will require treatment. Hopefully nothing too serious.

46'
The second half is underway!

Milan have to do a lot better in the final 45 minutes, otherwise it will be a disappointing result.

Milan 0-0 Bologna.

46'
First sub for Milan...

On: De Winter (debut)

Off: Pavlovic.

HT: Milan 0-0 Bologna

There were some good moments at the start but Milan faded a lot as things went on, with Bologna seeing more and more of the ball. Changes are needed for the second half.

45'
Yellow card for Saelemaekers

Another counter-attack stopped resulting in a booking.

40'

Increased frustration among the fans. Milan have looked very bleak in the last 15 minutes or so, allowing Bologna to dominate the show.

24'
Estupinan hits the post!

Nicely done by the left-back, cutting inside on his right foot. However, his effort hit the outside of the post.

18'
Yellow card for Tomori

Pretty clumsy challenge from the Englishman with his studs up. That being said, the referee has been really poor so far.

14'

Bologna score but the flag is up for offside.

12'

Skorupski saves! Good shot by Gimenez after a nice move, following Modric’s interception.

10'
Yellow card for Estupinan

He attempted to stop a counter-attack there and although he was successful, he also committed a clear foul.

  1. What the hell is this formation? Does Alegri know we are not playing against bercelona? And how much uselessness must Jemenes proof before you see that he is a useless striker? If you want to give someone a great debute then give Nkuku not Old and soon to expire Rabiot? This milan is pathetic 🤦🏻‍♂️

  2. Not starting Puli seems ridiculous unless he is injured or unfit (which he should be fine). He has been best/most consistent player for Milan last two years. Not finding a starting spot for him is a failure on Allegris part

  3. I am starting to wonder if Fofana is even working with the ball on training sessions, he can’t pass even to first player, i’m not even going to start on his shooting. Ruben Loftus-Cheek is a man who has two last names. You cannot have two last names and call yourself a man. Estupinan is starting to look much better. Gimenez is non-existent but we should be patient with him, at least until January. Modric is a generational genius and he can play until 45 because he plays with brain, not brawn. Rabiot is an excellent addition. I’m still 50/50 on Pavlovic but he must work on his decision making, grinta is not enough. This team will look much better when Pulisic and Leao come back, and if we stop using RLC, Fofana and Tomori.

  4. Not a bad first half. We dominated most of the minutes. Modric not at his best, and Salad not contributing enough to attack. Also, Santi is getting bullied whenever he gets the ball to his feet. Other than that, I’m liking what Rabiot and RLC are doing.

  5. Missed the first two Serie A matches but I’m hardly impressed about what I’ve seen today. We absolutely need to get up in gears in the second half if we want to get 3 points this evening.

  6. Watching this match makes me feel sorry for all Milan fans around the world.

I think AcMilan and Manchester United are battling same illness. These two team need reformation from the top management to get back to what they used to be in the world of football

  7. Milan are making me shed tears watching this heart-breaking performance against a club like Bologna. Alegri is gonna bury the already dead Milan. Oh God save my darling club from this disaster.

        1. 😀 Hahaha never had that issue myself, just please them before you please yourself then my experience is that they will say you gave them multiple org-asms 😛

      1. Definitely, I’m not Italian myself but I will any day ask for some sort of Italian Identity in AC Milan and has been asking for Ricci since his Empoli days.

      1. He doesn’t have first touch at all. And that is the first thing they teach you at age of 7. We need proper striker in January ASAP if he doesn’t improve

  8. Lucumi is such a great defender… him, Dovbyk/Vlahovic and a fullback would instantly solve all of our problems…

    and damn Nkunku IS HIM!

  9. That was a penalty, what a robbery. That situation earlier on Pulisic is not a penalty.

But at least Allegri kept his shirt on 🤣

  10. Allegri is passionate. I love it. This refereeing has been absolutely shocking. If this is the common theme of refereeing for the season, we are in for a lot of drama. I can’t even understand some of these decisions.

  11. Each and every AC Milan fan, young or old, at San Siro should be throwing silver coins and firecrackers after that referee.
Guess there is always Piazzale Loreto.

  12. I don’t know what must happen for Santi to score. Seriously. At this point put anyone but him as a CF. 3 points in the bag, this is the most important thing. Let’s go!

  13. Last year, we would have drawn or lost these kinds of games—well done! Despite many individual mistakes, the team delivered a solid overall performance.

  14. Looked a clear penalty on Nkunku for me…Gimenez, wow…good work rate, but his first touch and finishing are terrible….Rabiot and Modric were really strong. Good 3 pts!!

  15. Should’ve been easy 3-0
    Gimenez. Speechlesss . . .

Referee needs to be stripped off his licence

I like the end mid formation.
    Rabiot – Modric – Ricci

    Looks good

  16. Working so I couldn’t watch. We’ll take a win and a clean sheet. Great result, seems it could have been a much high score with many quality chances created despit having less possession. Well done.
