FT
Milan 1-2 Cagliari

It’s official, Milan have missed out on the Champions League AGAIN. Horrible display from start to finish, you could say, as they stopped playing after the goal in the 2nd minute.

Utter disaster. We should all brace ourselves for some big and negative changes this summer. Sales left right and centre. And who knows who will be the manager. Ah well. We saw this coming, didn’t we?

90'

Five minutes added on.

86'

Maignan saves a 1v1. Should have been 1-3 there. This is over for Milan. There is no way they can pull this off.

81'

Milan truly need a miracle here. Even if they do get the equaliser, it wouldn’t be enough as things stand, so we have to assume they must win.

76'

Gabbia clears/blocks the ball on the line. It’s ridiculous how Milan are playing right now. Tons of space for Cagliari to exploit.

75'

Huge chance for Rabiot even if that’s a difficult finish, but he was so close to goal there!

73'

Maignan with two really good stops to prevent Cagliari from scoring a third. So close to game over there.

68'
Final sub for Milan...

On: Leao.

Off: Fofana.

63'

Good chance for Pulisic but he fails to direct his header goalwards.

62'

Juve are now in the lead too, Vlahovic with the goal. We are 6th as things stand…

61'
Three subs for Milan...

On: Athekame, Modric, Fullkrug.

Off: Tomori, Jashari, Nkunku.

60'

FYI, Milan are now out of the top four. To make matters worse, Roma and Como are both in the lead.

59'
Yellow card for Maignan

Too much protesting from the goalkeeper in the end.

57'
Goal for Cagliari, Rodriguez

Scrappy situation in front of goal, Maignan with a good save initially, but it’s eventually turned in by Rodriguez. Similar to the first goal in some way.

Milan 1-2 Cagliari

56'
Yellow card for Pavlovic

Stopped a pretty clear chance there, even if he didn’t think it was a yellow card, or even a foul.

46'
The second half is underway!

Milan really need to pick themselves up here and get the job done. The first half was truly not good enough.

Milan 1-1 Cagliari

46'
One sub ahead of the second half...

On: Pulisic.

Off: Gimenez.

As expected, far from an easy win...
HT
Milan 1-1 Cagliari

Whistles at San Siro and rightfully so! What started so well turned into a nightmare first half, with really poor intensity, basically no chances created and a goal conceded. If anything, Cagliari were closer to taking the lead. So much more is needed.

45'

One minute added on.

40'

Really nicely combined there by Rabiot and Bartesaghi, but it’s a tough finish for Gimenez then.

37'

Nearly a massive howler by Maignan, who dropped a seemingly easy cross and was rescued by Tomori.

30'

Great ball by Rabiot to Fofana at the back post, but the midfielder doesn’t get enough power on the header.

27'

Decent chance for Nkunku there, but the shot is straight at Caprile.

  1. Ehhh i knew this won’t go without drama, but at least we have to push for win now and not hold on to 1-0 as usual

  2. Getting outplayed at home by Cagliari. Embarrassing, This club is f*cked. Unless we get a rich Arab owner, nothing will change.

    1. That’s how Allegri wants his matches. The opponent dominating and us watching them play. 🤦‍♂️

  3. Thats it, good old Allegri fuckin’ ultradefensive attitude… And obviously a huge mistake on the back.

  4. Thats it, good old Allegri fvckin’ ultradefensive attitude… And obviously a huge mistake on the back.

  5. I don’t like Rabiot at all. In the last months he plays very bad. He’s not able to win any direct fight for the ball with any opponent. His passing are really bad. He’s in decline form.

  6. We don’t have any style of playing, no flow, no schemes , this “team” looks like this guys don’t train together. Allegri is disaster…

  7. We can’t delete Cagliari in the last and most important match of the season? We don’t deserve Champions League

  8. How can anyone watch this team play and want the same coach back next season. In the last game of the season they look like they never played together before.
Hopefully Milan wins this game but Allegri cannot stay

    1. how can anyone watch last seasons team play and want the same coach(es) back next season. In the last game of the season they look like they never played together before. Hopefully milan win this game and allegri stays and gets the players he wants

      1. Oh yeah if he gets the players he wants, especially those rumored Milan will play much better. Lol.
Score a goal in the 2nd minute at home vs Cagliari and sit back and defend. I bet when he gets all the players he wants he will also change his tactics that he has had throughout his career. Lol
Allegri is only 8 points better currently than those 2 coaches from last season, while playing in 1 competition and winning zero trophies, or playing in Copa final.

  9. majority of fans really are happy to see this for the next 2 years (plus Vlahovic and Goretzka of course)…I just don’t get it

  10. Fofana off Ricci on
    Nkunku off Puli on
Jashari off Modric on? Not sure Jashari has been good enough to stay or bad enough to leave and only Allegri knows of Modric is truly up to playing.

    1. At least no assists for the opponent so far haha. Nah, I think he does well. Relatively.

  11. This game shows you can’t just turn on being offensive. Players need to have worked together to know where they’ll be to make quick and dangerous runs. Why aren’t they giving the ball to Nkunku on the sidelines.

  12. These anemic, soft and low mentality players are a shame and embarrassment for history of this glorious club. And Allegri…I have no more words to describe my despise for him..

  13. I’ll tell you one thing… If Milan fails to win (which looks more than likely), they don’t deserve to finish in TOP4 and Allegri MUST go. He has made the 2nd most victorious club in UCL play like they are a team from a tiny village with 3k people.

Udinese came and dominated at San Siro and now Cagliari who has nothing to play for is doing the same. And the worst thing is that Allegri gets his kicks from watching Milan players stand and watch how Cagliari keeps the ball and doesn’t even want to attack. Pathetic. Embarrassing. Fng ugly. Disgusting. Enough is enough!!!

  14. I am one of those who want to see both Allegri and Tare continue with Milan but that is puerly beacuse I finally want some stability and consistency in this club. I’m tired of constant changes and revolutions thinking results will be immediate. But my god this is just horrible. I was expecting not something completely different tonight but at least something that would give me hope for the coming season. Not with this attitude and football.

  15. So, Cagliari comes to defend with simple enough instructions: don’t loose. They train for this since the last league match but alas, they concede in the first two minutes and thus have to attack. Lucky for them, the team they are playing against, having trained all week to do just what they have managed to accomplish: press for the ball and score early, suddenly decided to sit back and defend the one goal lead. Cagliari gets their equaliser and can now revert to what they trained all week for, sit back and don’t concede. Well done Allegro…Jeesuuss

  16. Sub was incorrect, Puli was supposed to replace Nkunku and not Gimenez. And on top of that, ofcourse that Juventus had to use some kind of shenanigans to start the match later, just watch us in Europa League next year, we don’t deserve better anyway. I’m so sorry for Modric, i know he loves Milan

  17. This clown Allegri just can’t change anything . He doesn’t know anything other than this 3-5-2….. Absolutely incredible primitive coach…

  18. milan is dead to me – easily the most pathetic team I have seen since I started supporting them in 2004 – no longer. Cardinali and his ignorant american stupidity has killed this club
    disgusting
I’ll watch MLS now rather than the total embarrassment that Milan and Serie A have become

  19. If we bribed Cagliari to lose before the game, maybe, and that is a big maybe, we could salvage a draw here with this kind of game and attitude

  20. If they don’t qualify for CL, this will be the biggest exodus and dismantle we’ve ever seen. Allegri, Tare followed by players Modrić, Rabiot, Maignan. Of course we cannot go without selling what’s worth – Leao, Pulišić, Pavlović.

    Torriani
    Athekame Winter Gabbia Bartesaghi
    Fofana Ricci RLC
    Saele Gimenez Nkunku

That’s official banter era team right there, lmao.

  21. I’m so curious what is the 5 thing we learn after this game. I can’t wait for the article 😆😆😆

  22. Beyond anger, beyond disappointment, this game and it’s result is not altogether a terrible thing. Champions league would have flattered and misrepresented our dire truth. We are pathetic, and must react from that standpoint. For the American, Fire everyone, clean the slate and think really hard about what Milan represents, including the option of leaving Mr. Cardinale

  23. I am done with this trash football club I swear. Logging out, deleting this app and fucking off! They can wallow in their fucking mediocrity!

  24. Allegris Hatred of Fullkrug needs to be studied… hes been the only striker so far this season, especially the previous 3-4 matches thays shown to be useful in lineup play with the other attackers, yet does Allegri start him????? No, he starts a just back from surgery Gimenez whos barely fit enough to play and hasn’t put a ball in the net in MONTHS. What is his refusal to play fullkrug for???? Did nick bang his wife or something? Pitiful… just like his coaching

  25. I kind of can’t be this is actually happening this way. Who knows what this club will look like next year. Wild.

  26. I would rather Milan play Europa league instead of UCL with Allegri. This man is too stubborn. We’re closing the season like we started it. A lost game when it could have been a win.

  27. Absolute embarrassment. This has held us back years now. Failed project failed team. All our stars are leaving now. The team will be back to banter era

  28. It’s not beautiful but at least Allegri brings results, eh?!!!!! 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

FU, ALL YOU ALLEGRI-FANBOIS! You got what you deserved. ❤

      1. Which is why I’m not entirely mad. I wouldn’t want another season of that again. Ket Napoli have him. If rumors are true, getting rid of that CEO snake would be a good start for rebuilding. I hear Galliani in talk to return wouldn’t be bad either.
Cardinal has done enough of the F*ing around, now he’s in the finding out stage.

        1. I’m not that mad either. Extremely disappointed but if missing UCL means sacking Allegri, then it’s definitely worth it.

  29. 😆😆😆 incredible…whaaaaat a bunch of anorexic clowns…😆😆
    And Allegri…wow…whaaaat a dinosaur…
    Cardinale….you deserve this !!!

  30. This is the best thing to happen to Cardinale and his legacy so far. Banter ERA football with millions spent. Fantastic Work, Gerry.

    1. To be honest considering how things is currently going the Banter era wasn’t that bad. We were broke. We made the best with what we had. What’s the excuse here aside from incompetence? Millions spent every year for a revolution, cardinale has to take responsibility for not listening to the fan because he’s been wasting money trusting incompetent employees.

  31. yeees…. FY Gerry! … how is that financial scudeto looking?? Now sell all the good players and let’s go to Seria B. Moneyball Gerry, thinks this is baseball

  32. After the final whistle of the 2026 campaign Milan have are not in the champions league so there has to be departures;

Scaroni – A good time to retire
Cardinale – You made one bad move by removing Maldini and has cost Milan severely so you must go.
Furlani – Was the pioneer behind the removal of Maldini and it is very clear he has been a complete disaster.
Ibrahimovic – A good player but has not lived up to expectations in the management team so off you go.
Tare – You and the management have spent 300m this year and Milan are the same as last year.
Moncada – Maldini will decide your future when he returns.
Allegri – Either retire or apply for the Italian job

  33. I watched the whole second half laughing…

Allegri is always Allegri. you need to be in the champions league. Scored early goal and then seat back to defend unit you conceed a goal to level the score. He should have start with 4 3 3 knowing all you need is a win. Play your best players in their rightfully position and let them give you the win you need just for tonight and not only to convert in to 433 In the second half

Como who know they need to be play Champions league food kept on attacking and scoring goals.

Scoring Goals gives you winning not defending

  34. Noticeably wrong when Allegri’s stuck with Leao and Pulisic…
Defending against Pisa, Hellas and the basement teams. So pathetic

  35. Sell the dead wood players…. Get enough experienced free transfers players to make top four next season and save money to really invest in upper season for champions leave football.

  36. I can’t imagine Milan playing against PSG, BM and etc.
Thank God we don’t qualify for CL.
Our target should not top 4.
Our target should be “playing a better football”
