The game ends all-square in Perth, with Nkunku’s penalty cancelling out Dimarco’s opener.

It was another useful run-out for Amorim’s men, who played well in the opening 30 and the last 30 minutes, with the changes making a real difference.

90'+2
Estupinan carded

A bit of a rough late challenge from Estupinan draws the second caution of the night.

88'
Torriani saves!

What an incredible save from Torriani to deny a strike from Calhanoglu that was nestling inside the post. Augusto heads wide from close range from the resulting corner.

84'
MILAN LEVEL!

The penalty kick is emphatically despatched by Nkunku, who earns it and scores it! We’ve got a new game with a few minutes to go.

83'
Penalty Milan!

Milan have been awarded a spot kick! A give-and-go between Nkunku and Modric sees the latter brought down by Augusto as he looks to latch onto a through ball.

73'
Bright signs

Leao and Ramos instantly looking lively. An interchange between the two sees Provedel called into action to prevent what would have been a tap-in for Nkunku. Ramos also has a shot comfortably saved.

66'
Inter chance

A lovely through-ball from Barella finds Lavelli, whose low shot skids off the surface and is well saved by Torriani.

61'
Mass changes on the hour

Eight new faces are on for Milan: Vladimirov, Terracciano, De Winter, Saelemaekers, Jashari, Modric, Leão, Ramos.

58'
Inter come close

Diouf causing issues down Milan’s left side and he cuts back for Mkhitaryan, who angles a shot narrowly wide of the far left post.

53'
Inter lead

The Nerazzurri go 1-0 up as Dimarco taps in a Barella feed from a few yards out. Not good defending there as several Milan players lost their men.

46'
Changes for the second half

Two substitutions for Milan before the restart: Nkunku and Estupinan come on for Cissè and Bartesaghi. Inter replace Stankovic and Idrissou with Mhkitaryan and Lavelli.

HT

Level at the break. Milan have had the better chances with Cisse and Camarda coming close while Musah hit the post, but Inter ended the half strongest.

44'
Inter chances

Pio Esposito and Zielinski both have chances as the ball falls to them inside the box, but Torriani is well-positioned and saves both with relative ease.

36'
Yellow card: Bisseck

Friendly or not, cards are still in play! Bisseck just lost a footrace to Chukwueze and clipped him as he was about to surge into space, leaving the referee no choice.

27'
Missed chance!

More smart link-up play down the right side for the Rossoneri: Chukwueze collects a Bartesaghi cross and lays off to Camarda, who dummies for Fofana, yet the curling shot doesn’t fool a well-placed Martinez in the Inter goal.

18'
Off the post!

It’s all Milan in terms of major chances, and that really should have been 1-0. Another flowing move forward led by Loftus-Cheek, who this time squares to Musah inside the box, but the midfielder hits the post with his shot from about 12 yards out!

12'
Missed chance!

Another decent opportunity for Milan to take the lead as that Chukwueze-Camarda combination nearly worked again. The Nigerian cut in and crossed, but the Italian couldn’t quite nod it in from a few yards out!

8'
Missed chance!

Good work by Milan to press high and seize possession off Stankovic. Loftus-Cheek feeds the run of Cisse, who can’t quite nestle a shot inside the near post.

We are underway at last, nearly 15 minutes after the scheduled kick-off time!

Beautiful Baresi tribute

A very touching moment before kick-off at the Optus Stadium, celebrating the legendary Franco Baresi who passed away last week aged 66.

    1. I don’t think it’ll be that easy to find, most pre season friendlies are. Luckily I’m watching it on TV, some tv channel has it somehow. 😀

    1. When? They look about the same as last year. The only positive is that these are not first team players mostly. 1shot on target, 35% possession. RLC is the best Milan player.

  1. I like the structure and it gives hope.. not impressed by Cisse so far. Carmada is a good scorer by linkup and hold up play very poor. He is not ready. Fofana might have hope as a destroyer
