Massive disappointment for Milan. They should have killed this game off at 2-1, but instead, they made mistakes and conceded a fatal equaliser. The referee also played a part in the matter as the Rossoneri shouldn’t have had their 3-1 goal disallowed.
Six minutes added on.
On: Athekame, Estupinan.
Off: Saelemaekers, Bartesaghi.
This referee has been unbelievably poor. Milan have themselves to blame in many ways but this has been shocking.
Lauriente scores the equaliser for Sassuolo. Milan’s defence once again falling asleep.
Milan 2-2 Sassuolo
On: Ricci.
Off: Pulisic.
Another goal for Milan, this time Rabiot, but the flag is up for a narrow offside. It was potentially going in without the touch, so that’s a bit of a shame.
Maignan makes a good save to deny Sassuolo. Milan need to be careful here.
On: De Winter.
Off: Gabbia.
The Italian played on a few minutes but he’s now off, so we have to assume the injury wasn’t too serious but still enough to warrant a sub.
If the referee blew his whistle for Loftus-Cheek’s push, then that’s incredibly harsh on Milan. There was barely any contact.
Pulisic scores but the referee blows his whistle for a foul by Loftus-Cheek, or at least so it seems.
Gabbia is down with an injury and might not be able to continue. He’s currently getting treatment.
Pavlovic finds Nkunku on the egde of the box, the Frenchman sets it up for Bartesaghi, and the youngster does absolutely brilliantly with a smart finish at the near post! What a day for him so far!
Milan 2-1 Sassuolo

Another 45 minutes to go, hopefully Milan can build on what was a rather positive end to the first half. No changes made by Allegri, so it’s the same eleven players on the pitch.
Il primo goal in #SerieAEnilive di Davide Bartesaghi 🔥

The first half comes to an end, level pegging so far. Milan certainly improved towards the end and the goal was well-deserved. It just remains to be seen if they can take it up another notch in the second half.
Three minutes added on.
Pulisic is brought to the ground by Idzes and somehow, the referee doesn’t award a free-kick. That was clear as day.
YES! Loftus-Cheek finds Bartesaghi at the back post with a low cross into the box, and the youngster makes no mistakes whatsoever with the finish! Really nice goal.
Milan 1-1 Sassuolo

Milan are playing really well now, especially in creating space on the right flank for crosses.
Rabiot does so well to win back the ball high up the pitch and create some space, but his shot is straight at the keeper! That needed to be a goal for Milan.
Two players booked at the same time (Fadera for Sassuolo) as the referee let the play go on for RLC’s foul initially.
Sassuolo open the scoring through Kone somewhat against the run of play. Really nice move to be fair, with some quick flicks in there, but the Milan defence still could have done better.
Milan 0-1 Sassuolo
Maignan finds RLC over the top, creating some chaos for Sassuolo and the goalkeeper, but no shot towards goal in the end.

Let’s go
Forza Milan
Lets gooo!
2-0, Pulisic brace. Nkunku 1 assist.
we know how to make every game a damn chore.
Usual insipid start, then concede a goal. Is this Milan’s new playbook?
no goal yet but Rabiot giving faith again
Great assist if it was actually intended to go to Bartesaghi compared to a misplaced shot.
Estupido on vacation??
sell him!
Damn Bartesaghi is on fire.
Surely we have some youth for the bench… No attacking options to bring on except perhaps ricci??? Futuro attackers or under 18s? Just give them 10 mins. Milan must have the smallest bench in serie a maybe even europe haha
why was Pulisic’s goal not counted? I did not see an offside or a foul? Was it even checked?
Think it was deemed a foul when Pavlovic made the header as a Sassuolo player fell to the ground but didn’t really agree with it but I might be wrong on both accounts.
Possibly pavlovic pushing defender while headering. But agree. If thats it then its very weak.
RLC was offside
Rabiot was offside he shouldn’t have engaged RLC header is a goal
Ref today is on a mission
Good sub for Pulisic.
…i guess not,
taking him out was a mistake
Needs to be a bartesaghi hattrick i guess today.
Cool Tomori as usual
Want a win, take out Be Winter. its too chill lol
You see!! they dribble thru Winter and almost score.. lol so bad it wasn’t a goal, deserve better what a good play
De winter ain’t it man. Shocking defending
Eat that Stingy Management!!
Learn to count.
What a sh1tshow
You beat Inter, Napoli, Roma for nothing if you loose points with Cremonese, Pisa, Parma , Sassuolo…
I will say Rabiot cause Milan to draw this match.
First half just a simple pass to Pulisic should have been a goal.
He shouldn’t have involved in RLC header to have the goal disallowed
How many points will we have to drop against bottom teams? Too many conceded goals. I hate this cowardly strategy of Allegri to sit back when only leading by 1 goal. Shameless performance.
Awful second half. I hate Nkunku, the assist changes nothing. I hope Allegri understands that he can’t play Pulisic and Nkunku in attack again. Sitting back might work if Gabbia is on the pitch, but as soon as he went off, you knew there’d be trouble. De Winter is okay, but he needs time to develop. I’ve only been suggesting Pinamonti for about 18 months. Idiots.
It really must be our goal to get top 4 because we are not winning the Scudetto this year. It was wishful thinking anyway
