The game ends scoreless at San Siro. Both sides had chances to break the deadlock, with Milan hitting the bar, but a draw seems like a fair result in the end. Much better result for the Rossoneri, that is for sure, as the three-point gap remains.

On: Jashari, Nkunku.
Off: Modric, Leao.
The veteran can’t continue after the knock to the head, but at least he was able to walk off the pitch.
Modric and Locatelli are down after a nasty head-to-head collision. Hopefully both can continue.
That might be the most obvious yellow card today. Truly beaten by Conceicao there.
This could really go either way. The feeling is that individual brilliance will decide the game.

Both sides have had spells of controlling the game so far in the second half. It’s not been as one-sided, possession-wise, as the first half when Juve seemed to have more control.
Really good work by Pulisic, Rabiot and Leao on that counter, setting up Saelemaekers brilliantly. Sadly, his effort hit the bar.

Probably due to the yellow card and Bartesaghi not being 100% ahead of this game.
No goals after the first 45 minutes, even if Juventus thought they had taken the lead (later disallowed for offside). Milan had one powerful shot from Rabiot and a couple of half-chances, but nothing too exciting so far.

Conceicao fires more or less straight at Maignan after completely fooling Bartesaghi.
Clear foul by the youngster and not much to say about the card either.
Thuram thought he had scored the opener, assisted by Conceicao, but VAR disallowed the goal for an offside! Wake-up call of sorts maybe, but Milan had played quite well just before.
Rabiot forces Di Gregorio to a good save! Really good power on that one, and a great pass by Pavlovic to set him up.

Lovely first touch by Fofana to spark a great chance but instead of passing the ball, he attempts a very tough shot. Not on target.
No booking for Locatelli. That’s just outrageous.
That has to be a yellow for Locatelli. His third foul and this was by far the ugliest.
Pulisic almost gets past two-three players, but even if he had pulled that off, there were almost no Milan teammates with him in that counter.

He made a great pass to Bartesaghi who stopped his run.
Maybe, but if there is no one to pass it to, he has to run and hold, right? And if you review the play, the minute he gets the ball 2 defenders are on him immediately and no one around to pass it too.
Allegri does not have the team set up to play slick and quick passing. This team is set up to defend, win possession and quickly release for the counter attack and hopefully put one away for 1-0.
I’ve always been fond of him but I thinks it’s time now to stop letting him play for a while.

Barte is good at handling the ball, but he a definitely a defensive liability. Hopefully Pavlovic can have a good game tonight.
I think he needs to put a few pounds on and become a center defender. He’s too tall to be quick and smaller players are going to take him to school.

I’m giving Saleamekers a 7 for his defending. Working hard and combining well with Tomori. Yildez is a nuisance, but they are making him work hard.
Saelemaekers definitely the best one today. Although he seemed to be running out of fuel the last minutes.
Appaling game, I’m used to us stinking the place out every weekend but I expected more from Juve tbh
