A draw against Juve? Shocker!
FT
Milan 0-0 Juventus

The game ends scoreless at San Siro. Both sides had chances to break the deadlock, with Milan hitting the bar, but a draw seems like a fair result in the end. Much better result for the Rossoneri, that is for sure, as the three-point gap remains.

90'

Six minutes added on.

80'
Final subs for Milan...

On: Jashari, Nkunku.

Off: Modric, Leao.

The veteran can’t continue after the knock to the head, but at least he was able to walk off the pitch.

77'

Modric and Locatelli are down after a nasty head-to-head collision. Hopefully both can continue.

75'
Yellow card for Estupinan

That might be the most obvious yellow card today. Truly beaten by Conceicao there.

71'

This could really go either way. The feeling is that individual brilliance will decide the game.

66'
Third sub for Milan...

On: Ricci.

Off: Fofana.

62'
Another sub for Milan...

On: Fullkrug.

Off: Pulisic.

60'

Both sides have had spells of controlling the game so far in the second half. It’s not been as one-sided, possession-wise, as the first half when Juve seemed to have more control.

50'
Saelemaekers hits the bar!

Really good work by Pulisic, Rabiot and Leao on that counter, setting up Saelemaekers brilliantly. Sadly, his effort hit the bar.

ICYMI: Gullit was inducted into the Hall of Fame before the game

The second half is underway!

The second half is back on at San Siro. Let’s hope for a little bit more composure in the final third and this might end well…

46'
One sub ahead of the second half...

On: Estupinan.

Off: Bartesaghi.

Probably due to the yellow card and Bartesaghi not being 100% ahead of this game.

HT
Milan 0-0 Juventus

No goals after the first 45 minutes, even if Juventus thought they had taken the lead (later disallowed for offside). Milan had one powerful shot from Rabiot and a couple of half-chances, but nothing too exciting so far.

45'

One minute added on.

40'

Conceicao fires more or less straight at Maignan after completely fooling Bartesaghi.

38'
Yellow card for Bartesaghi

Clear foul by the youngster and not much to say about the card either.

36'
Juve's goal is disallowed!

Thuram thought he had scored the opener, assisted by Conceicao, but VAR disallowed the goal for an offside! Wake-up call of sorts maybe, but Milan had played quite well just before.

35'

Rabiot forces Di Gregorio to a good save! Really good power on that one, and a great pass by Pavlovic to set him up.

We definitely second this...
23'

Lovely first touch by Fofana to spark a great chance but instead of passing the ball, he attempts a very tough shot. Not on target.

20'

No booking for Locatelli. That’s just outrageous.

19'

That has to be a yellow for Locatelli. His third foul and this was by far the ugliest.

14'

Pulisic almost gets past two-three players, but even if he had pulled that off, there were almost no Milan teammates with him in that counter.

        1. Maybe, but if there is no one to pass it to, he has to run and hold, right? And if you review the play, the minute he gets the ball 2 defenders are on him immediately and no one around to pass it too.

          1. Allegri does not have the team set up to play slick and quick passing. This team is set up to defend, win possession and quickly release for the counter attack and hopefully put one away for 1-0.

      1. I think he needs to put a few pounds on and become a center defender. He’s too tall to be quick and smaller players are going to take him to school.

  1. haha Milan’s right flank is defensive heavy, left flank is attacking. Rabiot has to run up to fill the CF.

and 90% of the comments here talks about Bartesaghi? Lmao. Is the attack okay for Milan, is the midfield okay? and make a young player to take the highlight of team’s performance after just half time? Milan’s fan is funny lol

Ok, changed the LB. the game is going to open.
    see how Conceicao play

    1. Dear Rosso, Bartesaghi was having a terrible half and got subbed off because he was so bad…what on earth do you want people to say? He had a great game??? Ok, i’ll say it…Bartesaghi was brilliant…feel better?

      1. You making the whole thing worse by saying he was brilliant. He has tough time today facing a brilliant attacker. and covered for rabiot sometimes. I meant there’s nothing much to say.

He got subbed and be was bad, okay. So you’re happy now right?! 😀 MR Savio Sir.

        1. Unlike you, I’m never happy when a Milan player is having a bad game. I leave that to posters like you.

He had a bad game, period.

          1. trust me no one be like you! you smells great, you say perfectly. He HAD A BAD GAME..
            prince, you’re happy now???

          2. No Thomas I’ve been fairly happy all season, especially with the core players who took Milan on a 22+ game unbeaten run.

  2. Yes SAvio Sir is right. Making him happy to say, Bartesaghi is Terrible today! he was so bad! Now got subbed, so Milan is much better now!

    1. I would have understood Gimenez for Leao. But not Füllkrug for Pulisic. Inwonder what’s going on on Allegri’s head

          1. Yeah I’m puzzled, this match was screaming for a striker with something to prove…Allegri seems to have completely lost faith in Gimenez.

      1. Yeah, probably, i’m a bit racist and i don’t like Albanians maybe thats why. I’m hoping that he does well but i’m not seeing anything special in him

  3. I’m giving Saleamekers a 7 for his defending. Working hard and combining well with Tomori. Yildez is a nuisance, but they are making him work hard.

  4. 0-0! Juve are unbeaten in 8 and looked like a tough team to breakdown. Milan worked hard but all things considered a point each is probably fair.
