After routing Lazio 7-0 in the Coppa Italia, the AC Milan Women are looking to not only secure victories on the pitch, but off it.
One of the ways they’ll do so is in the form of reinforcing their squad. As per SempreMilan.it’s Luca Maninetti, Milan are on the cusp of signing promising French midfielder, Nesrine Bahlouli.
Bahlouli is a prospect who has been courted by many teams, including Manchester United. However, it would appear that the Rossonere have actually landed her services.
The player will come to Milan from France and more specifically, from Olympique Lyonnais. Bahlouli is an academy product that was forged in the fires of the most successful women’s team in European history. She has also had first-team experience in the squad, as she’s suited up in D1 Arkema games for the team.
She also has international experience, as she’s played for France’s U-19 squad. Bahlouli will now bring this wealth of talent with her to Milan.
As was noted before, Bahlouli is a promising midfielder who is an excellent passer, an adept dribbler, and capable of winning 1v1 duels.
Though she’ll most likely be a reinforcement for the Primavera squad, she can make valuable contributions to the senior team as well. Nothing is official at the moment but if all goes according to plan, then Bahlouli’s signing should be unveiled within the next few days.
