Twelve AC Milan players were in action for their respective countries over the recent international break, with four getting on the scoresheet.
Here, we take a look at how they all fared…
🇮🇹 Gianluigi Donnarumma and Alessio Romagnoli
Donnarumma started Italy’s 3-0 win over Bosnia but was left on the bench for the 9-1 win against Armenia, while it was the opposite for his team-mate Romagnoli who played 90 minutes and netted the sixth goal in the rout.
🇹🇷 Hakan Calhanoglu
Calhanoglu started both of Turkey’s games over the break, playing 87 minutes during a 0-0 draw with Iceland and 60 minutes of their 2-0 victory over Armenia, but he didn’t manage a goal or assist.
🇧🇦 Rade Krunic
Krunic played all 90 minutes of Bosnia’s 3-0 defeat to Italy, interestingly being used as a left winger, but was left on the bench against Liechtenstein.
🇵🇱 Krzysztof Piatek
Piatek went some way to restoring his confidence as he netted the decisive second goal for Poland in their 2-1 win over Israel, but was an unused substitute for their next game – a 0-0 draw with Slovenia.

🇨🇭 Ricardo Rodriguez
Rodriguez played all 90 minutes in both of Switzerland’s victories: the first being a 1-0 win over Georgia, the second a 6-1 win in Gibraltar.
🇭🇷 Ante Rebic
Rebic featured for 54 minutes of Croatia’s 3-1 Euro qualifier win over Slovakia and played all 90 minutes of their 2-1 friendly triumph over Georgia, but did not manage a goal or assist.
🇩🇿 Ismael Bennacer
Bennacer was in action for Algeria during their AFCON qualifiers against Zambia and Botswana, playing all 180 minutes in the respect 5-0 and 1-0 wins.
🇨🇮 Franck Kessie
Kessie scored the decisive spot kick in the Ivory Coast’s 1-0 AFCON qualifier win over Niger, but was left out of the squad for their 2-1 defeat to Ethiopia three days later.

🇧🇷 Lucas Paqueta
Paqueta played in both of Brazil’s friendlies, featuring for the first half in the 1-0 loss to Argentina before scoring against South Korea in a 3-0 win four days after.
🇵🇹 Rafael Leao
Leao featured for Portugal U21s in their one fixture over the break, getting an assist in a 3-2 win over Norway.
🇮🇹 Matteo Gabbia
Gabbia was in action for all 90 minutes of Italy’s 3-0 U21 European Championship qualifier win over Iceland, but was left out of the squad for the 6-0 win over Armenia.
