AC Milan’s squad list for Verona game: Ibrahimovic out, Saelemaekers with first call-up

By Nikita Fesyukov -

AC Milan will face Verona tomorrow afternoon in the next round of Serie A and will have to deal with the absence of several important players in the hunt for a fourth straight Serie A win.

The biggest absence will most definitely be that of Zlatan Ibrahimovic who, as reported earlier today by Sky, is dealing with the flu as well as with a light physical issue.

Another player who will miss the match due to the flu is Simon Kjaer, who took advantage of Musacchio’s absence and temporarily won a starting spot alongside Alessio Romagnoli.

The third player to miss the match, alongside the suspended Ismael Bennacer, is Rade Krunic, who was supposed to be the natural replacement of the Algerian in the starting line-up. However, a muscle issue ruled him out of the match.

Here is the full list of the called up players for tomorrow’s match at the San Siro:

Goalkeepers: Begović, A. Donnarumma, G. Donnarumma.

Defenders: Calabria, Conti, Gabbia, Hernández, Laxalt, Musacchio, Romagnoli.

Midfielders: Bonaventura, Brescianini, Çalhanoğlu, Kessie, Paquetá, Saelemaekers.

Attackers: Castillejo, Leão, Maldini, Rebić.
