CorSport: Turkish club aim to convince Bakayoko – Milan could sign a replacement

Tiémoué Bakayoko could leave Milan in the final few days of the winter transfer window amid interest from Turkey, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) confirms that there is a negotiation underway with the Turkish side Adana Demirspor, a team managed by the former Rossoneri head coach Vincenzo Montella.

Adana are trying to convince the French midfielder to terminate his loan agreement with Milan which is set to expire at the end of June and then to terminate his contract with Chelsea, which runs out in 2024.

An eventual departure for Bakayoko – who has not been used by Pioli in competitive Milan matches this season – could lead the Rossoneri to think about a new signing in midfield because there would not only be a spot in the squad freed up numerically but also they would not have to pay the remaining few months of gross salary.
