Yacine Adli has admitted that he and his AC Milan team-mates are returning to Italy with some regrets after they drew 0-0 with Borussia Dortmund last night.

Adli had started the previous two league games against Cagliari and Lazio in a deeper-lying midfield role while Rade Krunic recovers from injury, but last night Yunus Musah took his place and he came off the bench in the second half in a box-to-box role.
It was a frustrating night for Milan, who – just like in the Newcastle United game that opened the group stage campaign – had the chances to win but failed to take them.
Adli spoke to Prime Video after the game to reflect on the performance of the team and how it was to play in an atmosphere like that of Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park.
“We return home with some regrets, we deserved more and we played a good game. It’s complicated to play here. We struggled in finishing. But now let’s go ahead and play until the end,” he said (via MilanNews).
Milan’s next European game is against Paris Saint-Germain in Paris, the team with whom Adli made his professional debut back in May 2018 and signed his first professional contract with.
“All the matches are tough and there are no easy matches. We knew it would be a difficult group. Paris is my home, I grew up there, but now I want to give everything for Milan. I think day after day, I want to work hard. I’m growing and I play a little more, I don’t have to give up.”
