Yacine Adli remains a mystery to many as he continues to struggle for playing time and he could leave the club in the summer, according to a report.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) focuses on Adli and remarks that he has practically never been seen on the pitch this season despite an impressive preseason campaign and also looking good during the winter friendlies.
The Franco-Algerian midfielder arrived from Bordeaux having been signed in the summer of 2021 and left on loan for a season there, and there were some expectations that he could carve out a role despite a step up.
However, Adli has only 114 minutes played in the league, and only seven of them came in 2023 at the end of the game against Fiorentina.
The paper states that this is a sign Stefano Pioli does not yet fully trust him and as a result he could leave in the summer, but whether this refers to a loan or a permanent deal is not mentioned.
