MN: Adli shines while waiting for De Ketelaere – Milan’s creative department restocked

AC Milan are hoping that their creative department will be fully stocked and ready to go by the first game of the season in just over two weeks.

MilanNews talks about the two ideas that Milan have to fix an attack that – aside from Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud – struggled to be productive throughout the season. The first is Yacine Adli, who was bought last summer and left on loan for a year at Bordeaux, and has already integrated very well into Stefano Pioli’s tactical mechanisms.

This was demonstrated yesterday in the friendly against Wolfsberger when he was deployed in the role of playmaker, showing great intelligence, technique and vision, as well as confidence in his movements and an already good understanding with his new team-mates.

In addition, Milan also took steps towards signing Charles De Ketelaere yesterday too. The Rossoneri have increased their proposal to Club Brugge to €31m plus €4m bonuses, with €2m of those easier and €2m less easy to achieve.

Now the ball passes to the Belgian management and if they accept the new bid, the deal will be done and De Ketelaere will finally arrive in Milano soon.
