Agent confirms future of Napoli defender is ‘still uncertain’ and responds to Milan links

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of Napoli defender Elseid Hysaj refused to give much away when asked about Milan’s reported interest in his client.

A number of difference sources have reportedly recently that Milan are weighing up the signing of Napoli defender Hysaj on a free transfer as they look to plan for the new season despite the fact there are nine games of the current campaign to go and a top four spot to be secured.

Alfredo Pedulla (via MilanNews) reported earlier in the week that Hysaj remains a prominent name in the orbit of the Milan market, and the request of the Albanian full-back is €3million net per season, but a deal can be closed for €2.5m plus bonuses.

Hysaj’s agent – Mario Giuffredi – spoke on Punto Nuovo Sport Show on Radio Punto Nuovo and discussed the future surrounding his client, even responding to the reports that Milan are interested.

“Let’s move on. Hysaj’s future is still uncertain. Hysaj could go to many teams. His destiny has not yet been written. Unfortunately, to outline Hysaj’s future we need to put some pieces on the coaches. Is it true about Milan’s interest? No comment,” he said (via Calciomercato.com).
