Agent confirms Hauge is in demand: “Interest is coming from the Bundesliga and the Premier League”

One of Jens Petter Hauge’s entourage has confirmed that there is interest from Germany and England in the AC Milan winger.

Hauge has been at Milan for less than a year, but his future at the club already appears to be uncertain given that he was used less and less as the season went on after a very bright start, particularly in the Europa League group stages during which he was the Rossoneri’s top scorer in the group stages.

Patrick Bastianelli – an agent of Jens-Petter Hauge – was interviewed by Sky Italia about the future of the Norwegian winger, beginning by talking about the importance of Franck Kessie.

“Franck is a fundamental player both in terms of balance and in terms of numbers achieved. The current market is characterised by priorities, that is player renewals and not from transfers,” he said (via MilanNews).

“Hauge? He is a player who did well, he had a huge impact, especially in the first part of the season. Interest is coming from the Bundesliga and the Premier League.”

Sky (via MilanNews) reported yesterday that Eintracht Frankfurt continue to have Hauge in their sights and in the coming days they could present a new offer, after Milan rejected the first proposal from the Bundesliga club of €7-8m instead looking for €12-13m.
