Agent confirms that ‘Milan and Liverpool are interested’ in Senegal international winger

By Oliver Fisher -

The agent of Watford winger Ismaila Sarr has confirmed that his client will leave at the end of the season and named AC Milan as being interested.

Calciomercato.com journalist Daniele Longo reported earlier in the week that Milan are looking at Sarr as a potential option for the right wing. He is under contract with the English club until the summer of 2024 with 5 goals and 1 assist in 16 Premier League games this season for the Senegal international.

Watford are in 19th place and are running out of games to save themselves from another relegation to the Championship, so Sarr therefore seems ready to leave the Hornets in search of a new challenge at a top club, and Milan are after an improvement on the right side.

Now, his agent has confirmed to Afrique Sports TV that Sarr is ready to find a new club once the current season ends and he named Milan as one of the two clubs who have come forward to express an interest.

“He will leave Watford at the end of the season. Milan and Liverpool are interested in him,” he said (via Rudy Galetti).

  1. An interesting signing, could do quite well. But he won’t be cheap. Prem clubs are not poor and can demand higher prices even if they are relegated due to the parachute payments. When Everton took Richarlison off Watford they got a transfer fee starting at £35 million and potentially rising to £50 million.
