Agent of Milan-linked winger confirms Napoli have set a €20m price tag

One of the positions AC Milan are looking to reinforce this summer is the right-wing, and several players have been linked with them on that front. One of them is Matteo Politano, who looks set to leave Napoli.

Junior Messias and Alexis Saelemaekers disappointed the fans this past season as they weren’t prolific enough. Above all, though, they were way too inconsistent and this made things difficult for Milan at times throughout the season.

It’s not exactly surprising that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are studying the market for a potential right-wing reinforcement, therefore. In addition to Hakim Ziyech, Politano has also been linked with a move to the Rossoneri.

Speaking to Mediaset, as cited by MilanNews, Mario Giuffredi (Politano’s agent) was asked about the future and he revealed that Napoli have set a €20m price tag. He was also asked specifically about Milan and their interest, but remained coy.

“He’s valued at €20m, then there are other factors that always must be considered. There are some foreign and domestic teams interested. Milan? We don’t mention names,” he stated.
