The agent of Celta Vigo midfielder Stanislav Lobotka has confirmed that AC Milan are one of the teams interested in his client.
The Rossoneri are determined to add a top quality midfielder to the ranks this summer, in order to help Marco Giampaolo implement his 4-3-1-2 system.
Recent reports suggested that Milan have turned to Lobotka as a possible alternative to Jordan Veretout, with a meeting held with an intermediary.
Now, Lobotka’s agent – Branislav Jasurek – has confirmed Milan’s interested in his client.
“Stanislav Lobotka is a great midfielder, who showed to be very strong in Spain. Celta Vigo are a great club and the boy is happy to play in La Liga, even if the market runs its course,” he told Calciomercato.com.
“In Italy he was followed by many teams, Napoli first, then Milan and Fiorentina, even if at the moment they are behind other teams.
“We are talking to various clubs, some negotiations are in a more advanced state than others. Serie A is highly regarded, we’ll see how the market will evolve.”
