The agent of AC Milan defender Diego Laxalt has confirmed he is set for a meeting with the club over his client’s future.
The Uruguay international arrived from Genoa last summer for a fee of €17million, however he failed to provide competition for Ricardo Rodriguez.
With the arrival over Theo Hernandez in a €20million deal from Real Madrid earlier in the summer, Laxalt has been pushed down the pecking order even further.
We reported last month that offers from Atalanta and Torino have arrived, while Zenit St. Petersburg have also been strongly linked.
Now, the player’s representative – Ariel Krasouski – has confirmed that talks are set over Laxalt’s future.
“I’ll be in Milan tomorrow and we’ll get a better idea of the situation,” he told MilanNews.it.
“He is very happy in Milan, but like all players, it’s natural he wants to play more. I don’t have information on offers right now, but tomorrow we’ll probably know more.”
