The agent of Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva has opened the door to a potential return to AC Milan this summer.
Our correspondent Vito Angele recently told us that the Rossoneri are thinking about a reunion with the 34-year-old and that although at the moment there are still no concrete negotiations, Milan could soon work with the Brazilian’s agent.
Transfer source Louis Girardi claimed that negotiations have begun between Milan and Silva’s representative with a view to bringing him back in June, while parisunited also reported that Milan are keen and PSG have no intention of offering him a new deal.
His representative Paulo Tonietto gave an interview with the TMW network and stated that a return to Milan cannot be ruled out despite his client’s preference to renew with PSG.
“At the moment we have not talked about renewal with PSG. Thiago would like to continue at PSG, but he does not reject other possibilities,” he said.
“He has always had a great relationship with Milan. And if we don’t renew with PSG, everything is possible.”
It could well be that Thiago Silva teams up with a new boss at Milan in the summer, as reports in Germany are claiming Ralf Rangnick is likely to join in June. Read more here.
